Competitions - be part of the fun!

Want to be more involved in the Convention? Here is how you can be part of the fun at Eastbourne!

The Ali Bongo Micro Marathon of close up magic – who is going to take part this time - maybe a NEW name could be added to the relatively small list of people who have taken the competition prize - in many cases multiple times?!?

Since the late and much revered Ali Bongo introduced a Micro Marathon of close up magic at the Eastbourne Convention in 2008 it has continued to be a popular and well attended part of every convention. Magicians of all levels of experience are encouraged to enter to showcase their skills to their fellow magicians in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The winner is decided by the votes of the audience. The “Ali Bongo Memorial Trophy” is presented to the winner and all competitors receive a certificate of participation. For further details on how to enter please contact Rick Tynan on
